Our offerings are all private, player-driven experiences inside a physical set, but none exactly fit the tradition definition of “escape room.” We don’t have count down timers, there’s no way for your group to fail, and you don’t need to escape, though you’ll have clear goals and challenges.

Our games range in price from $25 to $40 per ticket, and we offer some customization and VIP options as well. If you’re on a budget but still want to play, we recommend checking our social media for discount offers or coming in for $10 Tuesdays, when all time slots before 7pm are priced at $10/person.

Yes, of course, as long as the total number of guests doesn’t exceed the experience maximum. You’re always able to add extra guests, and we can accept additional payment on arrival. We recommend calling ahead to let us know about the change to ensure the smoothest experience.

Our room caps are based on a few factors including space constraints, tech limitations, and experience design. In many cases it is possible to add an extra person, but we cannot guarantee the quality of your experience won’t be affected. If you’d like to bring more than the listed number, you MUST call ahead to confirm whether we are able to accommodate the change.

Please call to alert us if you expect to be more than 5 minutes late to your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we will accommodate you as well as our schedule permits, but you may not be able to complete your experience.

Absolutely. You can buy gift vouchers for specific amounts of money, or for specific experiences. They can be purchased through our booking platform. If you have more questions about gifting experiences, or would like to receive a physical gift certificate, you can contact us directly.

It varies by experience! Any number of participants in the listed range can come and have a great time, though different 

Yes, kids are allowed in all our experiences. Most of our offerings are designed with adults in mind, but many are very enjoyable for kids and families. We require at least one adult is present in every group and STRONGLY RECOMMEND that the number of adults in your party is equal to or greater than the number of kids. You’re always welcome to reach out to discuss whether a particular experience is right for your child.

Yes, you’re welcome to take photos of any part of your experience. It’s your experience, and we encourage you to document it however you like and to share photos freely (And feel free to tag us @bywatergames). That said, we encourage you to put engaging with the experience first, and to use your own judgement and discretion when sharing widely. If something felt particularly surprising or magical to you, perhaps try to preserve that magic for others.
