Hi, we’re Rachel Dunphy and Sam Moodey, two lifelong artists who met and fell in love working at an escape room in New Orleans. We discovered a shared passion for immersive experiences, the power they have to connect people and bring stories joyfully to life.
Everything you see, play, and interact with at Bywater Games was designed and created by us, with help from a team of incredible local fabricators and artists.

Fun, delight, surprise, light-but-rewarding challenges, and the chance to laugh and connect with your group. We encourage you to come to your game without knowing too many details about what’s about to happen, but are happy to share any specific information needed by phone or email

Yes, of course, as long as the total number of guests doesn’t exceed the experience maximum. You’re always able to add extra guests, and we can accept additional payment on arrival. We recommend calling ahead to let us know about the change to ensure the smoothest experience.
-
It varies by experience! Any number of participants in the listed range can come and have a great time, but smaller groups can often feel more intimate, and larger groups more energetic.
We recommend 3-4 people in Bob Lost and 5-6 people in Very Reel Game Show for the ideal experience.

Most of them, yes! Very Reel Game Show has dozens of different games and rounds, so you’ll play a brand new game every time you come in. Bob Lost: The Boy of Painting has a linear narrative that remains the same, but layered storytelling and creative play give guests the opportunity to gain new things from repeat journeys
